Jackets to Open Season Vs BYU in Atlanta

In a late scheduling development Georgia Tech will open the 2020 slate in Atlanta against the Cougars of Brigham Young University on Saturday February 1st.  BYU is one of the most storied programs in MCLA Lacrosse with Four MCLA National titles, Eight Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Titles in the last fifteen years and numerous All Americans.  The Yellow Jackets and Cougars last played in 2016 in the MCLA quarterfinals.  The Jackets were able to escape with the 7-5 victory to make their first ever Final Four.

"This certainly starts our season off with a big challenge, when Coach Schenck offered to bring the Cougars east to start the season we jumped at the chance to play in a MCLA early signature event." stated Coach Ken Lovic, "We have great respect for the BYU program and its an honor to host them."

BYU will continue their east coast swing with a follow on game with Clemson.
