Tech Crowned 2023 SELC Champions
The Georgia Tech Men's Lacrosse Team claimed the 2023 SELC Championship by outlasting South Carolina in a 10-7 classic. The game was a defensive grind early, with the teams heading into half-time with just 3 goals each. The 3rd quarter was much of the same, with South Carolina being able to capitalize off a few opportunites and push their lead to 6-4 after three quarters. From there, it was all Tech. The defense was stout while the Jackets offense found some momentum, highlighted by a 4th quarter hat trick from Brooks Baro. The Jackets used a 6-1 final quarter to claim the program's 5th SELC title, and first since 2017.
